Eau Duel is the latest of Diptyque eau de toilette. The fragrance is a tribute to the street spices and perhaps most especially the spice used in the world of fragrance: vanilla. However, the fragrance offers unexpected surprises, since it is dedicated to the contrast of light and shadow created by the agreement between the incense and vanilla. The top notes are fresh and explosive thanks to the soft notes of juniper berries in agreement with the elemi (resin), but also with the spicy touch of cardamom and pink pepper berries. The warm breath of saffron introduces the core reveals that an agreement between black tea and calamus, a root that gives us a thick consistency and gentle animal. However it lacks the support of a lush floral arrangement and clear. The bottom is full of light and shade contrasts between the two as vanilla used (firnat and bourbon) and the Somali frankincense, which is accentuated by hand smoked decided cypriol brushstrokes, a raw material extracted from the roots of a species of papyrus that grows in India. The fragrance was carefully orchestrated by Fabrice Pellegrin of Firmenich and is available in two sizes (50ml and 100ml). Very soon, even solid perfume in the lovely black box embossed with the classic oval logo.
