Les Nombres d'Or is the name of the new collection of eaux de toilette, created by Mona di Orio . The title of the collection calls to mind the perfect beauty: Les Nombres d'Or, or the golden section . To understand the significance of the collection for a moment we leave the perfume and turn to the world of mathematics, to make a brief review of geometry. The golden ratio is a ratio of proportionality, as defined by Euclid, between two parts of a segment that corresponds to a precise mathematical relationship. This report would have been observed in nature in several examples: in the sequence of growth of leaves on the branches of trees, development of the spiral shell of the nautilus shell as perfect, in the evolution of birds, the relationship between the various parts of the human body and in many other cases. A proportionality of this relationship has always been associated with the concept of harmony and beauty. It is said that this concept Phidias has repeatedly used to design the Parthenon to the human eye, used to observe this relationship in nature, could draw balance and harmony.
Mona di Orio has captivated and inspired by this concept to offer a collection dedicated to the beauty of quality raw materials and the harmony of the arrangements used in the composition. The protagonists of the series are emblematic of the three agreements perfumes of all time: the 'amber the moss and leather .
Ambre is a composition rich and mellow, floral and talc, in which there are hints of Moroccan Atlas cedar, ylang ylang from the Comoros, Tolu resin, benzoin and vanilla from Madagascar.
Musc is instead a hint soft and comfortable, yet fresh, thanks to notes of neroli (orange flower distillate), angelica (a root that has notes of musk), rose, heliotrope and fava tonka.
Cuir is clearly the creation that shows the structure stronger, with spicy facets, woody and smoky with hints that prove cardamom, absinthe, falls (a particular species of juniper, which grows mainly in the south of the Mediterranean), opopanax (a hot resin, soft and delicately vanilla) and castoreum (note leather and animal).
With these fragrances Mona di Orio has in place all the terms of his classical training alongside the great master Roudnitska Edmond, reinterpreting them with personality and originality, without exceeding, for giving us the perfect example of understated elegance.
We expect the store to try and appreciate Les Nombres d'Or!
